The Latino Business Student Association provides San Jose State undergraduate students with a community and resources to reach their career goals. While embodying the Latino culture and spirit, this organization focuses on providing resources for students interested in business careers. Without excluding other majors and cultures from joining in as many join for their social and professional development. Through the hard work and openness of its members, LBSA became the largest and most popular business organization at SJSU.
As this was the introduction to its new identity Latin Night looks distinct from its previous iteration. Latin Night is inspired by the emerging popularity of reggaeton in young adults. In addition, It utilizes its logo as a repeatable theme and asset for future Creative Directors in my position after me to utilize. While keeping in mind that future directors in my position may not be as well versed in design programs.

As the Latino Business Student Association's first Creative Director, I believed that our biggest fundraiser needed to be re-branded. The previous event hosted a Salsa themed night out at a local bar to raise funds for the organization. The org would focus on selling tickets to LBSA members, business majors, cultural-based clubs, and on-campus students. However, the idea of dancing salsa isolated and intimidated many students from participating. To reach a wider audience, a new engaging identity needed to be created!
